That may sound obvious, but it’s even more important to consider with the Session than with some other GoPros. The colder it gets the worse batteries perform, so if you’re planning to use the little GoPro in freezing environments battery life will decrease considerably.

Seriously, we beat this unit up quite a bit over the course of field testing it, with no damage to speak of. We're not entirely sure what kind of glass the front element is made of, but several run-ins with a flying skateboard didn't even leave a scratch. The body is coated in a rubber-like material, and the door containing the Micro-USB port and microSD slot appears well-sealed.
